Update
In case you were wondering what happened since signing with my agent, I thought I'd give an update.
Well, Sara requested some revisions and I spent some time undertaking them. I passed them to my CPs for the once over and they were not pleased - to say the least. 'Get back and do them properly,' said one. 'I think you could do with a little more on these areas,' said the less scary one. 'WTF,' thought the last one (she didn't ctually say it, but I KNOW that's what she thought). To say I was shocked was an understatement. I'd done them to the best of my ability, honest guv! Hmmmm, well clearly not. So giving them all the benefit of the doubt (because even I can be wrong sometimes) I put everything to one side, went off to see one of my best friends get married, and on my return did them again.
Okay, so I admit my CPs did have a point (but in my defence, I wasn't too well when I did them - what? That's no defence!) There were some areas I could develop further. So, not one for procrastinating (well, not in this instance) I went for it. And I have to say the book is a million times better for it.
Anyway, I sent them to Sara and as we speak at least 4 publishers are looking at it. Scary!!!

Um... how can I put this without causing offence..... NO AMANDA YOU AREN'T THE MILD MANNERED WITCH.
I will concede, however, that your brilliance is indeed staggering.

Well, if Amanda isn't the mild-mannered one it must be me, Malcolm.
There again, I am a tad older than the other witches so maybe I come over as fierce.
But, "WTF" Virgin is sooooooo brilliant now so, mild or fierce, we are all well chuffed!
